Welcome to Celebrate Recovery!!
You've undoubtedly heard the expression "Time heals all wounds." Unfortunately it isn't true. At North Park we frequently talk to people who are still carrying hurts from ten, twenty, even forty years ago. Truth is, time often makes things worse. Wounds that are left untended fester and spread infection throughout your entire body. Time only extends the pain if the problem isn't dealt with.
Celebrate Recovery is a Biblical and balanced program that can help you overcome your hurts, habits, and hang-ups. Based on the actual words of Jesus, rather than on psychological theory, this program is more effective in helping people change than anything else we've tried, seen, or heard of. Over the years, we've seen how the Holy Spirit has used this program to transform lives and helped people grow toward full Christlike maturity.
Perhaps you are familiar with the classic 12-Step program of AA and other groups. While undoubtedly many lives have been helped through the 12 Steps, that program has remained vague about the nature of God, the saving power of Jesus Christ, and the ministry of the Holy Spirit. Dr. Rick Warren, Senior Pastor of Saddleback Church, and John Baker, an Associate Pastor at Saddleback developed this program of Celebrate Recovery more than 30 years ago, based on Jesus Christ's most famous message, The Sermon on the Mount found in Matthew 5. They looked at what God has to say about recovery and developed four participants guides which have become the heart of Celebrate Recovery. As we walk https://canada-generic.com/generic-valium-online r at North Park (as well as 2.5 million people in 20,000 other groups worldwide) we find that Jesus will truly provide lasting freedom and release from all of our hurts, habits, and hang-ups. This is an "umbrella" programs, addressing everything from grief, depression, fear, anger, and co-dependency to divorce, loss, eating disorders, chemical addictions, cutting, and mental illness. All are welcome, just as we are, broken, searching, and longing for answers to life experiences.
