The Reason We are Under Judgment - Downplaying our Idolatry in the Church

Many have learned to live in the discomfort of sin. How so? They have taken the warning pains of sin (separation from God is painful) and have used the world’s resources to distract from the pain of their sin learning to live with it instead of repenting of it. What do you call it when we use created things to ignore obvious sin? Idolatry! This is the function of the world, but unfortunately it has become the function of many churches.
